Upside-Down Land is an illustration book based off a boy in the future who creates a robot using different vintage parts he's found throughout his life. The boy then takes the robot one day to a theme park ran by a "magician" who was secretly an evil warlock. The warlock spotted the robot when they attended his show but the boy refused to give the robot to him. The magician than steals him one night but the robot managed to escape. Since the robot was apart from his creator for so long, when he started traveling to find him, the world he knew was starting to change and became more exaggerated and fantasized. It wasn't until he found a giant clock tower that he was able to find the boy, below, looking for him.
